School Update 27th March
We hope you are safe and well, and enjoying an increasingly springlike feeling in the air.
With less than one week to go until the end of our first term, we are excited about celebrating our students’ progress and achievements as we reflect on our journey since January as a registered school.
End of Term Celebrations
We break for Easter on Wednesday 31st March.
A timetabled morning is planned, with a ‘Race For Life’ event and a Celebration Awards assembly to take place after lunch with house points being hotly contested. When Covid restrictions ease further, these events are something we look forward to welcoming parents to attend and share our students’ effort, achievement and progress.
Wednesday drop off and pick up times will be as usual.
Normal school uniform will be fine, with a pair of trainers please for the ‘Race’ event.
End of Term Reports
Ultimately, we will be using our MIS system, Scholarpack, to report to parents half termly. The data inputted by staff regarding baseline assessments, attainment targets and attainment will be used to inform measures of progress.
Further detail and explanation on this will be given to parents in due course.
This time around, we will be sending home bespoke in-house reports. These will be sent out during the Easter holidays.
Planning Link and Support
Our planning application remains live and supportive comments will help us to attain the vital permission we require to increase numbers to our planned capacity.
Your help would be gratefully received to evidence the need for our unique learning environment.

Our branded kit is in process, with valuable input from our students on design and key elements.
We hope to send you a link to key items imminently - an exciting development for our school. We have also developed a new “web portal” where uniform and kit orders will be available to purchase directly. This will be released after Easter.
As we approach the end of what has been a massively productive and successful first term following the birth of Abbot’s Way, we are already looking forward to the Summer term ahead.
As always, please feel free to contact us should you have any queries.
With best wishes and many thanks for your ongoing support.
