Games and Outdoor Pursuits
Fantastic to see our students enjoying physical activity, acquiring and building a range of crucial skills and attributes out on our land.
Our curriculum fosters and nurtures hidden talent and self belief, as well as developing that already established.
Students have a significant input into the wide range of activities offered, supporting therapeutic needs as well as embedding aspiration and challenge.
This week, Spirit showed plenty of just that during a session with Hellen focusing on ball skills and coordination, followed by a House Match on the top Paddock.
After a close battle with lots of strong defending, although possession of the ball was pretty even, Magellan won by three goals bringing the final score to 4-1.
In the meantime, Flair took advantage of the warm weather and walked down to the Fish House in Meare, before a relaxing and mindful Yoga session on our middle Paddock. Kirsten took our students through a range of movements to which they are quickly becoming accustomed, developing flexibility, core strength and of course mindfulness.
