Welcome To Abbot’s Way School
Abbot's Way is a specialist day school set to open soon for students aged 7-14, and for students aged 7-16 from 2022
A warm welcome to Abbot’s Way School, our fresh, forward thinking independent specialist day school, for students with specific learning differences, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia.
Situated in the historic Somerset village of Meare, near Glastonbury, our school enjoys stunning, panoramic views of the Mendip hills and indeed the ancient Abbot’s Way track across the Somerset Levels, symbolising the pathway between two islands.
We hold a passion for specialist education and the highest aspiration for our students. The quality, enriched and holistic provision at Abbot's Way enables students to access individually tailored learning to fit their specific profile, in order to excel and achieve their personal potential, both academically and pastorally.
Students with specific learning differences are exceptional young people, with immense 'brilliance' and talent. They deserve the very best education where strengths are recognised and challenges are expertly understood and supported so that a student is not held back, but accelerated toward their potential.
At Abbot's Way our team of outstanding professionals work in harmony to discover, foster and develop young peoples’ strengths, enabling them to gain the self-belief and self-esteem they require, in order to make progress, flourish and thrive.
